Theresa Paterson, Franklin Middle School Clerk Typist

Theresa Paterson began her career as a security aide at Kenmore East in 2001. She later transitioned to the health office, where she spent more than 10 years assisting the nurse and supporting students. In 2022, we were fortunate to have her come to Franklin Middle School as a clerk. Theresa is a valued member of our school community, arriving each day with a smile and warmly greeting every student. She is always willing to step in, whether it’s helping with scheduling or lending a hand wherever needed. Her creativity shines through in the showcases she designs, which brighten our building and bring joy to staff and students alike. A favorite this year was her Picture Day display, where staff shared their own high school graduation photos, sparking laughter and connection as everyone guessed who was who. Beyond her work, Theresa’s kindness and thoughtfulness are felt daily. She checks in on colleagues each morning, often bringing treats to share, and her caring nature makes her a true treasure at Franklin Middle. She is also deeply devoted to her family, often sharing stories about her husband, children, and grandchildren. That love and pride radiate in the way she connects with others, further showing the warmth she brings to our community. We are grateful for Theresa’s dedication, patience, and the joy she brings to Franklin Middle School every day.
